Moving an IT infrastructure is a serious undertaking, and requires months of planning and preparation. I'm the IT manager for a large accounting firm in Indianapolis, Indiana, and we've just completed a successful office move. Over the next several weeks, I'll present a series of articles on efficient planning for IT relocation, based on my experiences. I hope that you'll find these articles insightful, even if you're just moving or redesigning your existing computer room. I only wish that a resource like this was available to me when I began planning for our company's move.
