Deleting a Layer
If you decide that a particular layer is no longer needed, you can easily delete inside of Dreamweaver. To delete a layer, select it and press the Delete or Backspace key on your keyboard. This effectively removes it from the document. You can also contextual-click next to the layers, as shown in Figure 12.5, and choose Remove Tag <div> from the contextual menu. This technique is best used when only one layer is present in the document and you are using the <div> tag to create layers.
