Installing DNS
Installing DNS is quite easy. With Windows 2000 already installed, follow these steps:
Select Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components.
When the Windows Components Wizard launches, navigate to Networking Services.
Highlight Networking Services and click Details.
Select the Domain Name System (DNS) check box and click OK.
After you've installed DNS, the real work comes in configuring it for use on your Windows 2000 network.
