This hour, you booted for the first time into your new Fedora Linux computer system. You answered a few final configuration questions posed by Fedora, and then you did the following:

  • Learned how to tell Fedora to use a language other than English when communicating with you

  • Learned how to shut down or restart your system

  • Added a printer to your Fedora system

  • Configured Fedora to use your modem to dial your ISP for Internet service

  • Learned how to connect to and disconnect from your ISP

Your system is now fully configured, and you are ready to begin using and learning about Linux. On to adventure!
