About the Author
Kumar Loganathan is a Staff Engineer in the Sun Product Technical Support organization responsible for providing engineering support for the Sun Fire V1280/Netra 1280 server, the Sun Fire Midframe servers, and the Sun Enterprise servers. Prior to this position, Kumar was a manager in the Solaris OS organization. Kumar has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Masters degree in Computer Science. Before joining Sun Microsystems in 1999, Kumar worked as Principal Systems Engineer at Proquest Information and Learning (formerly Bell & Howell) and at Ford Motor Company and General Motors where he held senior technical positions in software and systems engineering organizations. Kumar has several years of experience with UNIX and Sun systems as a software and systems engineer.
