When I was in college, I was lucky enough to be able to take a number of movie appreciation courses. What I learned, along with a healthy appreciation for film, is that there are a huge number of movies I would like to see.

Finding these movies seems to be the hard part. Have you ever tried to find indie movies, or lesser-known classics such as Metropolis, in the local movie store? It appears that most of the industry caters only to the big Hollywood blockbusters of this year.
