Why Use Pages and Layers?
In this chapter, we'll look at making complex diagrams easier to construct by adding additional pages and using layers. These features enable you to break down your diagram into meaningful sections and also allow for easier editing. This includes the addition and modification of shapes within a layer, too.
Using pages and layers enables you to create very sophisticated drawings while maintaining maximum editing flexibility. Additional pages in a drawing can be used as detail pages, and layers can be used to group shapes logically. All Page properties can be viewed using the File, Page Setup menu.
