Beyond helping you manage information, Apple Watch can be used to streamline your interaction with businesses when shopping. Yet, this is only the beginning. Car companies, including Volkswagen, have already announced that within 2016 (or later) model year cars, Apple Watch will allow drivers to access and remotely manage a wide range of vehicle-related tasks, like remotely locking or unlocking the doors, viewing the gas gauge, and determining the exact location of the vehicle from the watch.
Meanwhile, if you’re an Apple TV user, your Apple Watch can be used as a remote control as you’re viewing content on your HD TV. Or, if you’ve equipped your home with a Philips Hue (www.meethue.com) lighting system, it too can now be controlled from your watch.
In the weeks, months, and years ahead, Apple and its third-party app developers will be discovering and implementing new and innovative ways for using the Apple Watch to navigate and interact with the world around us, as well as the people and other technologies we encounter.
