Tap the Chapters icon (it looks like a bulleted list) to view a list of chapters in the book, as shown in Figure 8. Swipe up and down the list of chapters, if necessary, and you can view the first page in the chapter by tapping the chapter name. Go back to the current page you’re reading in the main reading screen by tapping Current Page.
Figure 8 The Current Page is highlighted in blue and in a different font, so you can find it easily in the table of contents.
You can view a list of bookmarks you’ve added to the book by tapping the Bookmarks tab in the blue title bar at the top of the screen. The bookmark list is ordered from the newest bookmark you added at the top of the list to the oldest bookmark at the bottom. Tap a bookmark list to open and read the bookmarked page. You learn how to add and remove a bookmark later in this article.
Tap Notes to view a list of notes you’ve saved in the book. The notes list is ordered from the newest note you added at the top of the list to the oldest bookmark at the bottom. Tap a note to open the page that contains the note; the text associated with the note is highlighted in yellow.
If you want to close the Contents, Bookmarks, and Notes screen without making any changes, tap the Close icon (it looks like an X) at the upper-left corner of the blue menu bar that’s at the top of the screen.
