Packaging for Balance: “The Analytic Brief”
While this gentle-probe approach, even as simplified as it is, may make sense to you while reading this, my experience has been that it’s still not fit for consumption. To bring it to bear, you need to wrap it up in a single package. In our own work, we’ve developed such an artifact, which we call an “Analytic Brief.” The executives interviewed for this book had their own various ways of metaphorically bundling their preferred approaches. We’ll explore these further in Chapter 5, “Practical Frameworks—For Getting on the Same Page,” and in the conversations in Part IV “Conversations with Practitioners.”
