Premiere Pro is not like a word processor. You didn't buy it just to do some writing and not worry about all those other hard-to-decipher bells and whistles. You bought it because it offers so much more power than, well, those lower-priced also-rans.
The likelihood then is that you want to do something other than create vacation movies to show your (ungrateful) relatives.
