Now that you have a good sense of the features you’d like to include, it’s time to work out how they fit together in the geography of the app. Here, an architecture outline will help you as you go through sketching and wireframing. This kind of outline helps you organize features into screens and subscreens full of controls. You might develop it during sketching, as you draw various layouts that could serve the features you’ve decided on. See Figure 1.3 for a simple architecture outline.
