Michael Lord is Associate Professor of Management and Director of the Flow Institute for International Studies at Wake Forest's Babcock School of Management. His work focuses on expansion into emerging markets, high-tech acquisitions and spinouts, global strategy, and venture creation.
Dr. Lord has served as director of the China portion of Babcock's East Asia Management Program. He is a member of the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business, and the Southern Management Association, among other organizations, and received Babcock's prestigious teaching award in 2001. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
