Michael G. Brown

Michael Brown has been developing software as an amateur since primary school, and professionally since 1995. He has a Bachelor's of Computer Science with honors from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. An avid follower of the latest thinking in software development, he was an early adopter of extreme programming in 1999, followed thereafter by agile and lean. His experience includes everything from developing and designing software, to managing software projects and people.

Mike's hands-on experience spans several industries including software for control systems in the semiconductor industry, telecom, banking, workforce management and most recently scientific and lab management software at Accelrys Inc.
