Richard Lynch

Richard Lynch is the author of Adobe Photoshop 5 How-To (Sams, out of print, ISBN 1-57169-156-1); and Special Edition Using Adobe Photoshop 6 (Que, 2001, out of print, ISBN 0-7897-2425-1). He has also written a number of articles on Photoshop, scanning, and digital imaging. Lynch has five years' experience as a professional photo-retoucher and designer, and worked as senior editor for a photography book publisher. He continues to freelance as a retoucher and graphic developer for photographers, in advertising, and in Web site design. His freelance work has included trade show murals and digital solution consultation for professional printers. Currently, Lynch is a tester, trainer, and documentation specialist for a software company, where he is involved in Web site design and the development of training materials. He is currently at work on a book about digital photography: the Absolute Beginner's Guide to Digital Photography (Que, October 2001), and maintains his Photoshop Web site at http://www.ps6.com/.
