Barrie North has over 15 years of experience in the Internet, as a user, designer, and teacher. For the last ten years Barrie has worked in education. In 2005 Barrie started his Web consultancy company, Compass Design, (www.compassdesigns.net) that specializes in Joomla! Web Design and joined in partnership to develop Joomlashack (www.joomlashack.com). When not working there he can be frequently found on the Joomla! community boards helping new users learn how to make websites powered by Joomla!. In 2006 Barrie became a member of of the official Joomla!! Documentation Team , and the Forum Moderation Team.
