James Sugrue

James Sugrue is based in New Zealand and has been programming since he was 8 years old, when he starting writing games in Basic on his brothers Amstrad CPC 464. He wrote his first commercial software at the age of 15 and has written programs for Windows, Windows Mobile, Linux, Palm, and iOS. In 2009, he founded the development company SoftwareX, which has written more than 30 apps for companies from around the world. When not writing code, James writes for PCW orld in New Zealand, including a monthly programming column.
