Ciaran Walsh is Senior Specialist Finance at the Irish Management Institute, Dublin, Ireland, where he researches the links tying corporate growth and capital structure to stock market valuation. Trained both as an economist and an accountant, he had 15 years' industry experience before joining the academic world.
