Barry Stinson

Barry Stinson has been involved with building database-driven applications for the past decade. In that time, he has used all the popular RDBMS packages—both commercial and non-commercial. He has been able to see firsthand the strengths and weaknesses of the various platforms and has learned the "best practices" of database design.

As the owner of his own consulting firm, Silicon Consulting, Barry has developed a multitude of PostgreSQL-based solutions for clients. He has also been an active Linux user and a coordinator of his local Linux Users Group (lafix.org) for the past several years.
