David Taber is an internationally recognized marketing and management consultant in the IT industry, with over 25 years marketing experience including 8 years at the Vice President level. His company, SalesLogistix, is a leading implementer of Salesforce.com solutions, with clients in the US, Canada, Israel, and India.
David has been a user of Salesforce.com since its first version in 2000. He has worked on over 25 customer implementations of SFDC, from early stage startups to larger companies such as Sun Microsystems and Symantec. From this experience, he has developed the SFA Maturity Model and a methodology that dramatically accelerates the deployment of SFA systems. Using SalesLogistix best practices, clients experience 100% user adoption 3 to 4 times faster than the industry average.
His experience as a marketing executive in public and private companies–working with the sales organization, engineering, customer, support, finance, and corporate management–give him unique insight into the habits and needs of the executive suite. Additionally, his background in IT makes it easy for him to communicate at both business and technical levels.
David is an accomplished writer and speaker, having created and delivered over 100 presentations to audiences in Asia, Western Europe, the Czech Republic, and the US. He has media experience in television and radio. He has been a guest lecturer in marketing at the graduate schools of the University of California and Carnegie Mellon University, and he teaches the class in Product Marketing at the University of California Berkeley extension.
