Erasing

The Eraser tool allows you to selectively or collectively delete strokes and fills on the Stage.

The Eraser tool and its modifiers are discussed in "Eraser Tool" section, page 27 (Chapter 2, "The Flash Interface").

To quickly delete the contents of the Stage, double-click the Eraser tool. Choose among the Eraser modifiers and drag to selectively erase fills, lines, selected fills, or inside fills. Click with the Faucet modifier to erase stroke segments or filled areas.

You can also delete items by selecting them with the Arrow tool and pressing Delete.
