Summary

This example was fairly simple and demonstrates an easy way to generate XML from a database result set where a more powerful approach is not needed. There are other tools available that allow you to perform more complex tasks. We discuss those tools in the upcoming book XML and Perl by NewRiders, which will be released in October, 2002.
