Summary

This hour we covered frame-by-frame animation—a technique, not a Flash feature. This was more than just an exercise in how to animate the hard way. In later hours, you'll learn better and easier ways; during this hour you had a chance to look at several fundamental concepts. You learned how keyframes can be used to specify when an image is to change and experimented with the Onion Skin animation helpers. Also, you learned how to use pauses and blank frames to imply motion or stop motion. Finally, you made your first animation!
