Hopefully this article has motivated you to try out some of the new features of EJB 2.0 if you haven't done so already. Leading application server vendors such as BEA, Borland, and Sybase support EJB 2.0 with their current products. If you prefer open-source options, JBoss, which is downloadable for free, is a great choice as well. If you're working with an existing application, you can make definite improvements without a major rewrite.
