Passing the Exam

This exam requires an in-depth knowledge of all levels of security. Spend plenty of time experiencing the design of security, from planning on paper to implementation. You need to experience all aspects of the objectives to pass. A cram the night before the exam won't cut it.

Write down any notes, such as authentication protocols or RRAS attributes, as soon as you begin the exam. Writing this information down can keep your memory clear.

When you're taking the exam, be a good steward of your time. The questions are wordy and long. If a question has you stumped, mark it and come back to it later. Of course, never leave a question blank—take your best guess. Study hard, experience the security, and you can pass this exam.
