Adding a Podcast App (Galaxy Tab 7″)

DoggCatcher is a highly rated podcast manager available in the Android Market (currently $2.99 USD) that can help you grow your podcast library.

  1. After you have installed the DoggCatcher app on your Tab, tap the DoggCatcher shortcut. A list of feeds appears in which you can flick the page up or down to view the complete list.

  2. Press the Menu button on the Galaxy Tab.

  3. Tap Add Feed in the menu to search for a new feed. A list of recommended sources appears.
  4. Tap a source to view the feed offerings. A list of feeds appears along with brief descriptions for each feed.
  5. The icons located to the far right of each selection indicate whether the feed is audio, text, or video. Tap Preview Feed to review a selection before adding it to your list.
  6. Tap Add Feed to acquire that selection for your collection.
  7. Press the Back button on the Galaxy Tab.

  8. If you don’t see a featured feed that you like, you can perform a search. Tap Search Feeds.
  9. Tap in the Search field to access the keyboard and enter your search keywords.
  10. Tap Search. A list of search results displays.

  11. Use the Back button on the Galaxy Tab to go back to your main list of Feeds.

  12. Press the Menu button on the Tab.

  13. Tap Update Feeds to manually update each feed in the list.
  14. Tap Download Queue to view the progress of each of your downloads as they occur.
  15. Tap Media Buttons to change the size of interface buttons.
  16. Tap Add Feed to choose from a list of featured feeds or perform a search for a new feed.
  17. Tap Preferences to configure DoggCatcher settings, including feed updates, media player settings, notifications, and advanced settings.
  18. Tap More for further DoggCatcher support.
