The basic version of CrossLoop (see Figure 4) is free for personal and commercial use and offers basic remote desktop features. Both you and the remote user have to download the app. Connecting is similar to TeamViewer; the troubled user gives you his access code so you can connect.

The CrossLoop Pro version starts at $9.95 a month or $69.50 for a year. You can customize the branding of the app with your logo and contact link. Plus, it gives you widgets for your website so users can initiate connections and chat via the website. Or, create a helper profile on the CrossLoop site and you’ll get a hosted web page with the widgets. The Pro version also gives you the ability to bill and manage your customers, and sell and earn commissions on software.

Both versions are actually powered by the open source VNC client and server, but enhancements save you and users from having to set up port forwarding and firewall settings. It offers a user-friendly interface and experience, again similar to the TeamViewer app.
