Repurposing Existing Content

Perhaps your content is in one format, such as VHS or CD, and may be more appealing to your target audience as a DVD. Consider repackaging your content in a new format and including new elements such as an accompanying manual or bonus ‘resource’ DVD with links, forms or templates.

You can also take like-minded or themed content from several sources and create a "best of" report or completely revised bundled product. This is a great way to repurpose content and provide a value-added info-product to your customers. It also opens up your product line to mid and high price point options, thereby offering your customers something they might ordinarily go to a competitor to buy.

Your repurposed content can be used for all levels of products…free, front-end, mid-priced, and back-end as well as a plethora of initiatives such as new product development (sales), bonding, lead generation and affiliate marketing.

It can also be used tactically in list building efforts, article marketing, search engine marketing, online press releases, and most importantly—your SONAR marketing efforts.
