Viewing the Graph Graphically
Listing 3 illustrates a textual representation of the graph. Although it’s also reasonable to expect to see a graphical version, it’s important to realize that graphs can range in size from tiny (as in Figures 1 and 2) to the truly enormous.
An example of a huge graph is one that models a national telephone network. For such dense graphs, the value of a graphical representation is perhaps low because too many interconnected vertices make it hard to distinguish what is connected to what.
On the other hand, graphically viewing a portion of such a graph may be useful.
