The People Side

If you enjoy security issues, visit this site.  Most vendors and sites provide a lot of information on technical security issues.  All you need to do is apply patches, make these settings, buy and implement these tools, and voila!  No security issues and problems.

But what about the people part of the equation?  How well do you communicate your organization's expectations, the security policies, to peoples all over today's interconnected, international workforce? 

There are several excellent PDF's that document research that Cisco has sponsored, excellent research on the People Side of Security.  Read these and let me know what you think.  Review the importance of written and communicated Security Policy.  And then, then maybe look at products.
