James Y. Wilson

James (Jim) Y. Wilson specializes in the development of embedded software for handheld and consumer electronic appliances. In the course of his career, he has designed the system software for various devices ranging from digital cameras to pen based computers, including the worlds first wireless thin client device called CruisePAD (based on Windows CE 2.01). He has accumulated 9 software patents for various algorithms used in data communications and mobile device technology. He is also the leader of an open software project for the development of adaptive robot software called the Open Robot SDK (http://www.orsdk.org to be published in mid 2001). Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from California State University in Long Beach, California. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Dr. Denise Durant-Wilson and two fur children.
