Narayana Rao Surapaneni, a software engineer working for Patni Computer Systems Limited (PCS), India (www.patni.com), is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and Sun Certified Java Professional. He also holds other certifications in ASP, e-commerce concepts, Visual Interdev, and so on; has delivered more than 14 public seminars on the .NET framework, C#, and ASP.NET at various places in India; and has published dozens of articles on various sections of .NET technology.
Surapaneni leads the .NET Technology Group at PCS, which deals with various aspects of .NET technology. He has been invited to author books on .NET by leading publications, including participating as a columnist and on the panel of contributors for IT Magazine. He has worked on a number of development projects involving liaison with international clients, with primary tasks including object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), coding, development, and debugging.
In addition to his many writing projects, Surapaneni has developed a teaching tool using C# and made an extensive study comparing C# with C++ and Java. He has prepared material on C# for various organizations, trained a number of students, and is actively involved in deploying C# applications on Apache Server. He has also worked with WINForms applications, the interoperability of .NET components with traditional components, writing web forms and web services, database programming using C# with ADO.NET, and writing ASP.NET applications using C#.
