Lynda Lyday is a home improvement expert who has spent most of her life in the construction business as a union carpenter, contractor and started in 1997 as a home improvement television personality, has become the go-to woman for the DIY Network and news programs. Lyday was the first woman to teach carpentry at the Carpenter's Union School in Manhattan and has parlayed that skill to teach the average do-it-yourselfer.
