Daniel Fernandez

Boris Scholl is Lead Program Manager Microsoft Azure Tools.  His team is focusing on architectural and implementation patterns for large scale distributed Cloud applications, IaaS developer tooling, PowerShell integration with Visual Studio, provisioning of Cloud environments, publishing applications to Cloud environments and the entire ALM life cycle. Before joining the Azure tools engineering team Boris worked in the Microsoft field as a technical Architect for global Cloud and SharePoint solutions and as a Program Manager for Visual Studio SharePoint tools. In addition to being a speaker at various events, Boris is author of many articles and co-author of the highly rated book SharePoint 2010 Development with Visual Studio 2010.

Trent Swanson is a Solutions Architect and Founder of Full Scale 180.  He has been working with Microsoft Azure since the very beginning, helping clients around the world build, deploy, and manage their cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.  Whether it's a new application or migrating an existing one, he enjoys the entire lifecycle of delivering scalable, resilient, and manageable cloud solutions. In addition to helping clients design and deliver their cloud solutions, he works with Microsoft's Patterns and Practices group developing cloud guidance and best practices.  Before starting Full Scale 180 Trent's career at Microsoft started as an embedded systems specialist.  He eventually moved on to designing large scale web solutions, which eventually led him to a career as a cloud solutions architect at Microsoft.  Trent worked on the very first Microsoft Azure Auto-scaling sample, which shipped with the release of the Azure Management API, and has also contributed a number of community samples.

Dan Fernandez is a Principal PM Manager in the Visual Studio Tools for Azure team. Most recently, Dan's team is working on creating the developer experience for Docker. Dan has worked at Microsoft since 2001, working in multiple roles including the Channel 9 website working on developer content, conferences like Build and TechEd, website planning, and open source apps that show off fun, cool uses of Microsoft technology like Kinect-driven boxing robots or building cloud-connected cars. Dan's other roles include Lead Product Manager for Visual Studio Express and Microsoft Popfly, the Visual C# Product Manager, and as a Developer Evangelist in the Mid-Atlantic district. Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked as a developer at several consulting firms including IBM Global Services specializing in web-based and mobile application development.
