Jess Johnson

Jess Johnson is a software developer who enjoys crafting code to explore interesting problems.

She is the creator and developer of Author Alcove (http://authoralcove.com), a book discovery service. Jess also runs a small dev shop specializing in bespoke web apps, and writes about programming, business and application metrics, Python, and Django at GrokCode (http://grokcode.com). 

Jess has a Computer Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been programming professionally for 10 years, and tinkering with computers for much longer than that.
