An internationally recognized authority on business technology, Dr. David A. Taylor has written numerous articles on object technology and business engineering, given keynote speeches at international conferences, and served as the voice of authority for some of the world's leading companies. He is the author of five books, including the acclaimed Object Technology, Second Edition: A Manager's Guide (Addison-Wesley, 1998). Formerly a tenured professor at the University of Rochester, Dr. Taylor founded and directed the Convergent Engineering Institute, providing workshops and certification courses to managers on the use of advanced business-design techniques. He was also the founder and CEO of Enterprise Engines Inc., a software development firm subsequently acquired by ERP vendor QAD Inc. He currently provides business design and education services to Fortune 500 clients.
