About the Author

Gary Wilson is the director of Computer Services for a medical research center at Columbia University's School of Physicians and Surgeons. He has worked on computers for the last 25 years and has worked as a trainer and training consultant for ten years, publishing several articles, Internet essays, and training manuals on WordPerfect, CorelDRAW, Adobe PageMaker, and Ventura Publisher. Gary has been a linux enthusiast since 1995 and is experienced in setting up, maintaining, and integrating systems and computer networks, and teaching new users how to use Linux. He is the author of Caldera OpenLinux Installation and Configuration (published by Que).
