Graeme Proudler is an IT researcher at Hewlett Packard Laboratories, Bristol, UK, specialising in trust and information security in computer platforms and networks. After graduating with a degree in Physics from the University of Oxford (UK), he designed communication-security equipment. Since joining HP Laboratories in 1985, he has worked on information security, networking and mobile communications.
He contributed to the GSM standard and suggested some basic features of Trusted Computing Platform Alliance (TCPA) technology. He was a founder member of the TCPA Technical Committee, the first editor of the TCPA main specification, and the Technical Lead of the HPL research group that worked on Trusted Computing Platforms.
