Chris Radcliff is a Perl programmer and chief evangelist at VelociGen Inc. He has been programming in Perl and designing Web sites since 1995, and he is convinced that neither technology is a passing fad. He is an advocate of open source software, practical Web applications, and user-centered design. Outside the world of software, Chris is fond of permaculture, architecture, physics, gardening, philosophy, travel, and science fiction. He has considered both cloning and temporal engineering as possible solutions to the problem of too many ideas and not enough time. He currently lives in San Diego, California, with his wife, Karen, and two friendly cats.
