Peter Bauer

Peter Bauer is a computer graphics writer and consultant. He is the author of Special Edition Using Adobe Illustrator 10, and has written documentation and user guides for a variety of Illustrator-related software and plug-ins. Pete serves as the Help Desk Director for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), and is a Contributing Writer for Mac Design and Photoshop User magazines. He also writes a weekly column for the Web portal PlanetPhotoshop.com. He and his wife, Professor Mary Ellen O'Connell of the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University, live in the historic German Village area of Columbus, Ohio.

Mordy Golding is the Product Manager for Adobe Illustrator. Mordy has also written The Web Designer's Guide to Color. With a strong technical background, Mordy has been a designer and production artist for both print and the Web, and has been a featured panelist at Macworld.

Peter Bauer

Peter Bauer is the author of eight books on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and digital photography, and has contributed to a number of other books. His latest Photoshop book is Photoshop CS3 for Dummies. An Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), he is a regular contributor to Photoshop User and Layers magazines. Presented with the Pioneer Award by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) in September 2005, Pete is also a nominee for the Photoshop Hall of Fame. As the Help Desk Director for NAPP, he personally answers tens of thousands of e-mail questions annually about Photoshop and computer graphics. As the NAPP Help Desk Director, he has contributed to and assisted on such projects as feature film special effects, major book and magazine publications, award-winning Web sites, and fine-art exhibitions. He has taught computer graphics at the university level and serves as a computer graphics efficiency consultant for a select corporate clientele. Pete appears regularly as a member of the Photoshop World Instructor Dream Team. He tests and writes documentation for a variety of Photoshop and Illustrator related software. Pete and his wife, Professor Mary Ellen O’Connell of the Notre Dame Law School, live along the St. Joseph River in South Bend, Indiana.

Jeff Foster

Jeff Foster is a published author of several computer technology, animation, and video production visual effects books, including the best-selling book The Green Screen Handbook. He has been an Adobe Certified Expert and has served as an instructor and featured speaker at conferences such as Photoshop World, Macworld, Adobe MAX, and NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Post-Production Conferences. Foster has been producing and providing training for traditional and digital images, illustration, photography, video production, motion graphics, and special effects for over 25 years. Some of his clients include: Tribune Broadcasting, Motorola, Stanford University Hospital, Nestlé, FOX Television, Spike TV, Discovery/TLC, Deluxe Digital, Universal Studios, Lions Gate Films, and Disney. He has also received several awards for his “Documercial” video productions and visual effects.

He is currently producing a book and video training series called Photoshop In Motion, where the focus is on creating and editing digital video and animation. He appears regularly as a member of the Instructor Dream team at Photoshop World and as a featured speaker at Macworld User/Pro Conferences. Foster has been creating traditional and digital images, motion graphics and special effects for over 20 years for clients such as: Sanyo, McDonnell Douglas, FOX Television, Universal Studios and Disney.
