Jeffrey Ferris

Jeffrey A. Ferris, MCSE, currently works in Texas as a Systems Engineer for one of the largest hardware companies in the industry. His responsibilities there include technical development for emerging technologies. Jeffrey has been working with computers since right after he learned to walk, and for the past seven years he has focused on operating system deployments and Windows NT enterprise technologies. Prior to moving to Texas, Jeffrey was an associate consultant with Celeritas Technologies, LLC, a prominent consulting firm in the Kansas City area. While in Kansas, Jeffrey fulfilled a critical role in the development and implementation of the first nationwide rollout of a Windows NT 4.0 domain architecture for Sprint Communications Company, L.P.’s Call Center Services division.

Jeffrey has contributed to six published books. Most recently, he authored Windows 2000 Deployment & Desktop Management, a complete reference for deploying Windows 2000 Professional in corporate environments, published by New Riders. He has co-authored five other titles, which cover Windows 2000 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Enterprise, A+, and Network+ certification exams.
