Mordy Golding has played an active role in design and publishing since 1990. An Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Print Specialist, Mordy was the product manager for Adobe Illustrator 10 and Adobe Illustrator CS. The founder of Design Responsibly LLC, a company focused on consulting and training professionals on the Adobe Creative Suite, he was named a Champion of Graphic Design by Graphics IQ.

Mordy Golding has played an active role in the design and publishing environment since 1990. A production artist for both print and the web for many years. Mordy, an Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Print Specialist, has served as a hands-on trainer and has spoken at worldwide events and seminars including Macworld, Seybold, NAB, and PhotoshopWorld.

He worked at Adobe as the product manager for Adobe Illustrator 10 and Adobe Illustrator CS, and is the founder of Design Responsibly LLC, a company focused on consulting, training and support for designers and printers who are looking to adopt the Adobe Creative Suite.

Mordy was named a Champion of Graphic Design by Graphics IQ and has written and edited numerous books on Illustrator, as well as recorded training DVDs.

John Ray

John Ray is a life-long fan of Apple’s products; he has been an avid Mac user since its inception in 1984. He relies on OS X both at work and at home because it is a robust, flexible platform for programming, networking, and design. Over the past 14 years, John has written books on OS X, iOS and OS X development, Linux, web development, networking, and computer security. He currently manages the application development team in the Office of Sponsored Programs at The Ohio State University. He lives with his long-time girlfriend, their dogs, a collection of vintage arcade games, and an assortment of tech toys.

John Ray

John Ray is an award-winning Web application and network developer for the Ohio State University. He holds a computer engineering degree from OSU and oversees network operations for one of its colleges. There, he implemented a campus-wide database for maintaining TCP/IP information for a wide range of networked computers. For the past five years, John has used Linux exclusively for his programming efforts and has championed its use for projects inside and outside the university. He provides Linux- and UNIX-based TCP/IP programming solutions to businesses nationwide. His other publications include Que's Red Hat Installation and Configuration Handbook, Linux Maximum Security, and Special Edition Using TCP/IP.
