Jim Clarke

Jim Clarke is the primary author of JavaFX™: Developing Rich Internet Applications. He is a principal technologist with Sun Microsystems and has spent the last 12 years developing with the Java platform. Prior to that, Jim specialized in distributed object technologies. For the past two years he has been working directly with JavaFX, and was a part of the JavaFX compiler team.
