Downloading to a Portable Player

When you click the Portable Device, the Windows Media Player screen changes to the two-pane Music to Copy and Music on Device screen shown in Figure 21.8. Connect your portable music device to your computer. The device must be able to be plugged digitally into your computer and cannot be an analog music device, such as a cassette player that has no digital computer connection. Select songs from the drop-down list under Music to Copy, and either drag the songs to the right window or double-click them to send them to the right window, which represents your target portable music device. The space left on your portable device as you copy music updates to let you know how much room is left.
