This hour showed how laptop users can take advantage of the special mobile support features of Windows. Windows includes support for docked laptop computers, so the configuration changes whenever you dock and undock. In addition, infrared ports make communicating between two infrared devices simple and wireless.

The easy interconnection possible in Windows XP means that you'll be connecting more computers than ever before. With those connections comes confusion, however. A desktop and laptop computers'files can get out of synchronization. Generally, you want to work with the latest version of a file, but comparing dates and times is tedious and error-prone.
