Q&A

  1. Aren't all printers sold today Plug-and-Play? If so, why does Windows XP still support such old technology?

All new printers are Plug-and-Play, but users are still using some printers that are not truly Plug-and-Play. Those printers won't die anytime soon. Not all computer users buy new printers with each new computer. Windows XP must make available support for virtually any printer that might still be in use.
