Renaming Files and Folders

To give a different name to a file or folder:

  1. Select the file or folder you want to rename.
  2. Choose File, Rename from the menu, or click on the icon with the right mouse button and choose Rename from the pop-up menu. The name gets a box around it and the text is highlighted (see Figure 9.3).

  3. Enter the text for the new name.
  4. Press Enter .
