Getting Help in Windows 2000

Windows 2000 Professional offers several ways to get Online Help—instant onscreen help for menu commands, procedures, features, and other items. Online Help is information that appears in its own window whenever you request it. Windows 2000 Professional also features Web Help, and if you are connected to the Internet, you can go directly to the Microsoft site with information on Windows 2000 Professional new features, tips and tricks, and so on.

Windows' Help feature offers four ways to seek help: by using Web Help or by using Online Help and finding help by viewing the Contents, Index, or Search views. You can also add Help documents that you use frequently to the Favorites view of the Help program. You access Windows Help in one of the following ways:
