Changing the Time or Date
The time on the clock is the system time of your computer. Double-click the clock to open the Date/Time Properties dialog box (see Figure 20.9) where you set the clock. Do any of the following, and then click OK :

- Select the current month from the drop-down list under Date.
- In the year box under Date, enter the year or use the up and down arrows to select the year.
- To choose the day, click the date on the calendar that appears below the month and year.
- Click in the Time text box and enter the correct time, or select each of the time components (hour, minutes, seconds, AM/PM) and use the up and down arrows to select the setting.
- Click the Time Zone tab and select your time zone from the drop-down list.
- If your area recognizes Daylight Savings Time, check Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes. You won't have to worry about resetting the clock when the time change occurs.
