Sams Teach Yourself Visual Basic 6 in 24 Hours

By Greg Perry

Summary

In this hour you learned ways you can route output to your printer. Actually, you have learned here that all Visual Basic output goes to the Windows print spooler and the spooler takes care of speaking to your particular printer.

Creating printed output isn't always simple. With the exception of printing program listings (which you can do by selecting File | Print from the development environment), printing data can take awhile. You must take care of every line and jump to a new page when necessary.

The next hour starts a new part of your tutorial, where you'll create menus and add graphics to your applications.
